George P. Kellerman

	Mr. George P. Kellerman, of Mt. Prospect, formerly of the Pinckneyville area, departed this life at his residence on Saturday, December 7, 2002, surrounded by his family.  He was 78.
	George was born at Todds Mill on February 14, 1924, the son of George and Rose (nee Kurtz) Kellerman.  He was united in marriage to Agnes Grzegorek at Posen on October 18, 1947 and she survives his passing.
	Mr. Kellerman retired from the Navy in 1967 after serving 24 years, his last assignment being at the Glenview Naval Air Station.  While serving in WW II, the ship that he was assigned to (LCI-782), was involved in the Battle of Okinawa.  Upon leaving the service, Mr. Kellerman was employed at the Kitchens of Sara Lee in Deerfield for 20 years.  At the time of his retirement, George held the position of Quality Control Manager.
	Mr. Kellerman was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Mt. Prospect, Knights of Columbus Fr. Dussman Council #3731, the VFW and the Moose Lodge of Mt. Prospect.  He enjoyed his hobbies of gardening, traveling, cooking and especially baking.  Family and Friends fondly remember his delicious breads, cookies, pies and cakes.
	Left to mourn his passing are his wife of 55 years, Agnes Kellerman of Mt. Prospect; two daughters, Patricia Allison and husband Thomas of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Sharon Faltemeir and husband Edward of Mililani, Hi; one son, Mark Kellerman and wife Sandra of Palos Heights; five grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jeremy, Timothy, Stacy and Matthew; other relations and many friends.
	He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Paul, James and Charles.
	Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in the St. Mary Magdalen  Catholic Church at Todd's Mill  on Thursday, December 12 at 10 a.m. with Fr. James Van Oss officiating.  Interment was in the church cemetery.
	Friends called at the Campagna Funeral Home of Nashville on Wednesday from 4 until 8:30 p.m. and on Thursday from 7:30 until 9:30 a.m.
	Vigil prayer services were held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m.
	Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Northeastern Illinois.
